“Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Mt 18:9"
I remember being on a "Booze Cruise" on Spring Break years ago and singing the title of this blog with three hundred other drunks. "The roof the roof the roof is on fire................."
Josh McDowell did some research that shows only 5% of people who claim to know Jesus share their faith. 95% of "believers" do not share their faith. I remember being a "Secret Service" believer. More concerned at that time with what hypocrisy I could get away with versus the saving grace I could give away. When I began desiring to share my faith I learned several "gasoline like" methods that scared more people away than led people to the Savior.
The recent suicide on a local college campus has created a sense of urgency throughout our ministry. An urgency that desires to love people, present truth and lead the lost into a relationship with Jesus not a religion. "The roof the roof the roof is on fire" and Jesus wants us to be living water.
There are two destinations souls will go when they leave earth. Most believers understand what the destinations are, we just choose not to sell fire insurance.
What excuse is keeping us from bearing the fruit of won souls for the Kingdom? When Jesus said go and make disciples did he exempt any of us?
Make it a great night!
